Section One is all about getting started. To begin, the new features of the application and the interface are covered. Then, students will learn how to customize the ribbon interface and the Quick Access toolbar.

Section Two gets into new and improved file management tools. First, tools in the Info section (such as the Accessibility Checker, Compatibility Checker, media optimization, and versions) of the Backstage view will be covered. Next, we will provide an in-depth overview of the New area of Backstage view, including the different template types and sample files. Finally, participants will learn how to use the new sections feature.

Section Three explores audio and video formatting tools. Then, new picture tools are covered. This includes screen capture, the Pictures mini toolbar, picture-based SmartArt, artistic effects, advanced cropping tools, and background removal.

Section Four covers all the new presentation tools. To start, participants will learn about comparing and reviewing presentations. Then, the new printing features are covered, as well as Reading view and Presenter view. The Animation Painter is also discussed. The final lesson explores how to save slides to the Internet, broadcast slides, create videos, and package a presentation for CD or other media.
