Our one-level Upgrading to Office OneNote 2010 training courseware will help students who are familiar with earlier versions of OneNote upgrade to the 2010 edition.
Section One is all about getting started. To begin, the new features of the application and the interface are covered. Then, students will learn how to customize the ribbon interface and the Quick Access toolbar.
Section Two gets into some of OneNote’s new and improved tools. To start, we’ll look at using the OneNote calculator and creating equations. We’ll also explore the mini translator, Quick Styles, and bullet list improvements.
Section Three explores notebooks management tools. We will cover how to create and manage notebooks, section groups, sections, and pages. Unfiled Notes will also be discussed.
Section Four is all about OneNote and the Web. First, we will cover how to create a shared notebook with Windows Live SkyDrive. Then, we will look at how to use the OneNote Web App and synchronize notebooks with the desktop version. The section will conclude with a look at versioning and collaboration tools, including the notebook Recycle Bin.
Section Five begins with a look at OneNote’s improved search tools. Then, printing techniques and saving information to PDF or XPS are covered. Send to OneNote and the OneNote printer are also discussed. Finally, docking OneNote to the desktop and linked note taking are covered.
