Our one-level Upgrading to Visio 2010 courseware and training materials package will help students who are familiar with earlier versions of Visio upgrade to the 2010 edition. It will also allow students who are familiar with Office 2010, but who have not used Visio, to gain a basic understanding of the program.
Section One is all about getting started. To begin, the new features of the application and the interface are covered. Then, students will learn how to customize the ribbon interface and the Quick Access toolbar.
Section Two begins with a look at the New category of Backstage view, which provides different starting points for diagrams. Then, Auto Align, Auto Space,
Dynamic Grid, Auto Size, and AutoConnect are covered. Picture tools are then discussed, followed by information on My Shapes and Quick Shapes. The section wraps up with a look at themes, removing personal information, reducing file size, printing a diagram, and publishing to PDF or XPS.
Section Three is all about containers and callouts. Participants will learn how to add, format, and customize each of these elements.
Section Four covers process diagrams and cross-functional flowcharts. To wrap up the section, participants will learn how to create data graphics and
legends.
By the end of this Upgrading to Visio 2010 training courseware, students will be able to make the most of Visio 2010’s new features.
