This course is a comprehensive three-day program in Project Management Training: Understanding Project Management, enabling those who are new to project management to develop an excellent understanding of methods, processes, and the benefits of using a project management approach. This workshop does not provide international certification, but it does provide supervisors and administrative staff with the following skills:
- The fundamentals of completing projects on time and on budget
- How to improve idea presentations
- Techniques and tools for planning and tracking a project
- Exploration and practice in project management techniques
- How to use applications for PERT diagrams, Gantt charts, network diagrams, and flowcharts
- Essentials for communication, teams in project environments, and more
This course incorporates learning from our individual single-day courses in Project Management (PM Fundamentals, Intermediate PM, and Advanced PM). Participants who have completed the three individual day courses will not need to take this three-day course, except as a refresher.
This comprehensive program gets participants engaged with the pre-assignment and keeps their interest through engaging activities, assessments, recommendations for further learning, and more. Trainers can customize their presentations easily, whether making changes to the instructor guide, student workbook, pre-formatted slides, or any component they choose.
